Specialty Materials announces the addition of three new digital-print materials to its ColorJet Media line.

CJM-2265 Solvent Matte features a true matte finish and is available in 24" and 50" width rolls. Solvent Matte prints with all solvent/ecosol printers.

CJM-2275 Multi-Ink Dark is now available for dark colored materials. Available in 17", 24" and 50" widths, Multi-Ink dark is printable using solvent, aqueous and pigmented inks.

CJM-2285 Multi-Ink Light is available for white and light colored materials. Available in 17", 24" and 50" widths, Multi-Ink Light is printable using solvent, aqueous and pigmented inks.

Specialty Materials introduces several new materials to their FashionFlex line--- zebra, graffiti, giraffe, camouflage, copperhead, red marble and green spangle.

Continuous testing by the manufacturer and numerous users has established ideal
temperature and time to be lower (330° - 335°F for 17-20 seconds) than our
previously published specs (345° - 350°F for 20 seconds). 

 

Both conditions work well.

The higher temperature may require a longer (step #6) cooling period to allow the
thermoplastic adhesive to solidify prior to peeling the polyester backing.
